BeatHaven & Friends – What started out in 2015 as Connell playing bass live on BeatHaven tracks performed on the looper has, within the last six months, evolved into a full on jam rock/funk band that goes under the moniker BeatHaven & Friends. Ranging from a 3-5 piece band, they perform live renditions of BH originals in addition to covers and are in the early stages of recording their first full length studio album of all original material. BeatHaven & Friends put on a high-energy musical experience that is growing more elaborate and refined with every performance as the group continues to develop their skills both individually as musicians and collectively as a unit.
The BLNDRS are a local Charlottesville band on the rise. Formed in 2015, The BLNDRS combine classic and original rock & roll with a folk-rock eclectic flair and vibrant stage presence. Since conception, the band has risen in the local scene ranks, playing regularly at venues in Charlottesville and Richmond. With their fun, inventive style reminiscent of the Grateful Dead, Ween, and Wilco, they provide a music experience that is accessible to all ages.
Madly Backwards is a rock n’ roll band from Harrisonburg, VA. Formed in 2013, they are currently comprised of Eric Sites on guitar and vocals, Neil Forde on guitar, Nick Wilson on bass guitar, and Jamie Infantino on drums. Their music combines the grit of blues, the energy of funk, and the sonic experimentation of psychedelic on top of a rock foundation. They draw on everything from the alt-rock of The Black Keys to the heaviness of Black Sabbath and then add a willingness to jam reminiscent of the Allman Brothers Band to create a distinct yet classic sound. When playing live, they constantly adapt their set and often feature other musicians to produce a unique experience for every show. They are beginning to work their way around the Mid-Atlantic United States and continue to play extensively in the Harrisonburg music scene.
