Freedom Hawk – Hailing from the barrier dunes of Virginia, this quartet blends heavy riffs, a rolling groove, and soulful guitar melodies to produce the sound that is Freedom Hawk. Their brand of rock coupled with a high energy live show, leaves many wondering if they’ve stepped through a time warp, which has taken them to rock’s heyday in the 70’s.
Evil Eye – Evil Eye, is a four piece, heavy rock band, based in Charlottesville, VA. Formed around 2011, the band quickly learned a bunch of cover songs. But before long they had enough solid originals, that they decided to look at the wave of the music business and say, “hey but, let’s party”.
Company Corvette – This three-piece has been delivering heavy rock that is blues-based, with a healthy dose of psychedelia and a metallic punch. The Company Corvette brings high-energy, riff-driven grooves mixed with laid back vocals and blistering, wah-wah drenched guitar action. With two self-released albums behind, the band has finished work on their 3rd album in Summer 2014, and is looking to get out there as much as possible.
Ferrigno – The members of Ferrigno formerly played under the name The Skinny Lads. When the guys from Evil Eye kicked sand on the Lad’s beach blanket, there was dynamic tension, to be sure. A year of power lifting later and the Skinny Lads have reappeared as Ferrigno, the most pumped band in the tri-county area.
